It all started on what was supposed to be a carefree summer vacation in the Florida Keys. Instead, I found my three adult children in collective bad moods— hardly the beachy, margarita-fueled energy I had in mind.

 

The culprit? Dating apps.

 

My son was recovering from yet another ghosting. My daughter had just been told, “I’m not ready for anything serious.” And my other daughter? She had officially run out of profiles belonging to men 6’0” and taller. She’s 5’3” on a good day.

 

That’s when it hit me: something about modern dating clearly isn’t working. Upon further research, I saw that dating app fatigue is incredibly real and typical dating apps don't work. I knew there was a better way ... I just had to build it.
